Solar Design
Where design data comes from, and its limits
Data sources, provenance, unresolved inputs and what ClickSabi does not certify.
Sources
Roof geometry, surface and irradiance inputs come from the mapped property and the reference datasets available for that location. The solar resource in use is labelled with the dataset it came from.
Shading
Shading can be imported or entered manually. Lidar and drone survey capture are marked coming soon and are not available.
Losses and corrections
Production uses the model's loss assumptions and temperature correction. Total losses and the DC to AC ratio are shown in the internal design review card on Results.
Unresolved inputs
Missing inputs are reported as incomplete and suppress dependent figures. No value is invented to fill the gap.
Not an engineering certification
Design output is a planning model. It is not a certified engineering result, it is not engineer-approved, and it is not a statement of code compliance.
