Stringing validation and errors
The five validation outcomes and the failures that block a design.
Five outcomes
Every check returns pass, warning, fail, incomplete or not applicable. Incomplete means a required value is missing, and is never treated as a pass.
Blocking failures
Failures gate the design. Examples include a string reaching a voltage above the inverter maximum at the site design temperature, an optimizer count below the manufacturer minimum, string power above the permitted maximum, and a microinverter branch above the continuous-current allowance of its branch device.
Missing inputs
If no site design temperature is established, no temperature-corrected voltage can be calculated and the check reports incomplete until you set it. The same applies to missing datasheet values on a module.
Stale circuits
If a circuit references modules that no longer exist in the layout, it is reported as out of date. Re-string that face or restore the modules.
Warnings
Warnings do not block, but overriding one is recorded with the reason you give.
