Refunds, reversals and disputes

Refunds
A refund is recorded as its own transaction linked to the payment it reverses, so the original request and the refund both stay visible.
Effect on status
A fully refunded request shows as Refunded. The history of what was paid is not erased.
Effect on project funds
A refund reduces the funds recorded against the project. If funds were already requested for disbursement, that is reflected in what remains available.
